New Era Fitness supplies, installs and maintains commercial gym equipment from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website or contact us, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the choices you have under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010, as amended by the Personal Data Protection (Amendment) Act 2024 (together, the "PDPA").

For the purposes of the PDPA, New Era Fitness is the data controller of the personal data described in this policy.

We only collect what we need to prepare your quotation and keep you updated:

• Your name, email address and phone number — you give these when you sign in and send a quotation request.
• The machines, quantities, budget range and buying purpose you add to your quote.
• If you choose to sign in with Google, basic account information from Google (your name, email and profile picture).
• If you message us on WhatsApp, your WhatsApp phone number, your WhatsApp display name and whatever you write to us — see the next section.

We do not collect or store payment card details on this website — there is no online payment here.

Most of our customers reach us on WhatsApp rather than through a form, so it is worth being clear about what happens. When you message either of our numbers (+6011-1150 2167 or +6012-349 2193), we receive and keep your phone number, your WhatsApp display name and the contents of the conversation — including any photos, floor plans or documents you choose to send us.

We use this only to answer your enquiry, prepare your quotation and follow up on it. Those chats sit on our team's phones and inside WhatsApp itself, which is run by Meta and governed by Meta's own privacy terms — we do not control how Meta handles data on its platform. When a quotation goes ahead, we may copy the key details (your name, company, phone number and what you asked for) into our own records so we can service the order.

You can ask us to delete a WhatsApp conversation and any record we made from it at any time, using the contact details at the bottom of this page.

We use your information to:

• prepare and send you a quotation,
• contact you by WhatsApp, email or phone about your enquiry,
• let you track the status of your order in your account,
• keep records of enquiries for our own follow-up.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it to anyone.

We will contact you about the quotation you sent — that is simply part of responding to your enquiry. We will only send you other updates or promotions if you have agreed to receive them, and you can tell us to stop at any time.

Your details are seen by our team so we can respond to you. We also use a few trusted service providers to run the website, and they only process your data to provide their service to us:

• Supabase — securely stores your account and quotation.
• Google — sign-in, if you choose it.
• Resend — sends the alert email about your request to our team.
• Vercel — hosts the website.
• WhatsApp (Meta) — carries the messages, if you choose to contact us that way.

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to anyone.

The service providers we use store and process data on secure servers that may be located outside Malaysia (for example elsewhere in Asia, in Europe, or in the United States). Wherever your data is handled, we take reasonable steps to make sure it stays protected to the standard described in this policy.

We keep your quotation and account information for as long as you have an active enquiry or account with us, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Under the PDPA you have the right to:

• Access — ask to see the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct — ask us to fix it if it is wrong, incomplete or out of date.
• Withdraw consent — tell us to stop using your data, at any time.
• Limit processing — ask us to stop using your data for a particular purpose, including direct marketing.
• Data portability — ask us to send a copy of your data directly to another provider, where that is technically feasible and the formats are compatible.

To make a request, email us at the address at the bottom of this page and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Commissioner (Jabatan Perlindungan Data Peribadi) at pdp.gov.my.

This website uses your browser's local storage to remember the machines in your quote, and a sign-in session so you stay logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can clear this at any time in your browser settings.

When you tap a WhatsApp, call or email button, we log that tap together with the page you were on, the machine you were viewing (if any), a short reference code, how you first found our site (for example Google, Facebook or a direct visit), the address of the page that referred you, your browser's technical identifier (user-agent), and a random anonymous ID stored in your browser so repeat visits count as one visitor. None of this is linked to your name or phone number, we use no advertising cookies, and we keep these records only for sales attribution. Email hello@newerafitnessequipment.com to have them removed.

We serve this website over a secure (HTTPS) connection, and your data is stored in a database with access controls — so you can only see your own quotations, and only our team can see them all. No system is ever perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

If a data breach ever happens that is likely to cause you significant harm, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commissioner and tell you directly, as the PDPA requires.

This website is meant for businesses and adult buyers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
